The GB Series basses from Cort are designed for modern players who have a preference for a traditional look and feel but with modern performance enhancing appointments and features. This GB5 Custom 5-string has an exotic spalted maple top paired with a swamp ash body, which achieves a balance, in both appearance and sound, between the traditional and modern. The Canadian hard maple neck sports a rosewood fretboard with white pearl block inlays. The GB5 Custom is loaded with Seymour Duncan SJB4-3N and SMB-4D pickups wired to a Duncan Design BEQ-3 EQ and Mid-Frequency switch for a huge range of great bass tones. A cool feature is the locking jack, which holds your cable in if it gets accidentally pulled, or you step on the cable. To plug out, simply push the red release button.
